Most of us have heard about sodium bicarbonate. It is baking soda that we all use in our household. It is the reason for the rising of our food; it takes away the odor that is caused by acid in our refrigerator, garbage, cans and carpets. It helps us to clean our dishes, fruits and vegetables, and our sink as well.

However baking soda has other advantages and we present you some of them:

1. Positive influence over kidney disease

Our body produces bicarbonate. An alkaline that can neutralize acid and at the same time it can regulate the pH levels. This is how it helps to people who have a kidney disease, which mostly happens among people who are hypertensive or diabetic. 7. Increase endurance levels and strength

If you consume baking soda before you do a hard workout it will delay fatigue and it will improve your performance. Remember it is not dangerous to use baking soda topically. However if you consume it orally it can be dangerous if not consumed in moderation or proper amounts. In some cases it can cause diarrhea or dizziness and it can destroy the balance of the acid in your body.

You have to note that baking soda won’t increase your blood pressure. It is true that baking soda contains sodium but sodium can increase your blood pressure only if you mix it with chloride, just like salt.
